Differences between nrf9160 B0 and B1

Hi,

When looking at the release notes for the latest nrf9160 modem firmware, it says that the B0 devices are for development only, and B1 for production. I have a number of custom test boards I have made as well as a number of unused nrf9160 B0 devices; if I do develop with these, what differences can I expect to see ? Is it just the issues in the errata document? The errata doesn’t list any issues with the modem. And as far as I can tell from the B1 errata, the only issue that was fixed was to do with the cryptocell.

Yes, this is correct. This has to do with certifying the device on a network. The B0, revision 1, is not certified with modem fw 1.3.0, while B1, revision 2, is certified. Please see our mobile network operator certifications overview.
