Is there a C library to develop ble mesh gateway?

Dear friends,

We plan to develop a mesh gateway, however, i found the SDK only offered a mesh serial example which based on python, but our platform can't support python environment. We want to via uart connect to 52840 and realize control the mesh node(e.g. mesh light server). Could you give me some advices, thank you in advance.

I had read the tutorials about Mesh SDK in Nordic Infocenter , howerver, I still have no idea how to develop the gateway, because the serial host is based on a python script.
