nRF Connect for SDK used by Raspberry Pi?

Hi,

My name is Philex Fan who is a researcher working in academia. I am working with a group of researcher to develop biomedical device that can get brainwave signals and do post-processing. The device is capable of transmitting data through Bluetooth Low Energy and supports Bluetooth 4.2.

In the receiver side we use Raspberry Pi 3B+ and GATT protocol to stream data. But we are encountering issue of data loss when streaming data. On the other hand we use nRF Connect for Desktop installed in a MacBook as the receiver. The result is good and it does not lose data. I wonder if the nRF Connect for SDK can support Raspberry Pi?

thank you for the reply. Then please let me ask another question:

I have a nRF52840 dongle. If I'd like to use this dongle on Raspberry Pi while bypassing existing BLE function in Raspberry Pi, is there any SDK from Nordic Semiconductor that supports Raspberry Pi + nRF52840 dongle?

Hi Philex,

You should be able to do so using the HCI_USB sample from Zephyr samples. Just make sure that your RPi is configured and running correct Bluetooth stack (e.g. BlueZ).
