Low power examplel (ram retention) pca10040

Hi,

I am programming the PCA10040 board (tested 2 different boards) with the ram retention example program from the latest SDK (NR5 17.0.2). With this example is supposed to hold some ram retention and then goes to system off until the button is pressed.

I am measuring the power consumption with an otii by QOITECH and the current is at 400μΑ -500μΑ. I was expecting way less current consumption so I am wondering if anyone knows the solution on this.

Hi, yes I did. I have managed to get 2 out of my 4 PCA10040 boards working on mbed os with a simple timer-blinky program at 15-30μΑ. The other two boards are consuming above 200μΑ  with the exact same program. Any ideas?

If you have flashed the exact same executable on all chips and the behavior is different on two chips, then the issue could be with the hardware. Can you give me the exact versions of the PCA10040 boards and the laser mark on the nRF chips for the boards that worked and also for the boards that did showed increased power consumption.
