I want to connect an LTE antenna to J1. However, the antenna has a normal male ufl connector - it appears not to fit.
Is an adaptor needed for this?
Thx for any suggestion.

Hi Paul,
Here is the connector type on the nrf9160DK
J1, J3 | MM8130-2600 | Coaxial Connector with Switch | COAXIAL-SWF | Murata | MM8130-2600 |
https://www.digikey.no/product-detail/no/murata-electronics/MM8130-2600RA2/490-4981-1-ND/1775925
I don't know what antenna connector you have on the antenna but this is the info on the on mounted on the board.
Regards,
Jonathan

Thx Jonathan
Most small antennas have a standard male uFL so they are evidently not compatible with this DK. Can you suggest a cable that would mate with this pls?
Regards.
I don't think there is anything that directly converts from a SWF to a uFL connector, but SWF to SMA and SMA to uFL.
example using this as the SWF to SMA and if you use a similar solution form uFL to SMA then you will also need a SMA to SMA connector.
I don't have a one cable\connector fix all solution. Not that I can find or have heard of. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Jonathan
