Use Directed mode or fast advertising mode after lost connect?

After the nrf52 lost connection with the phone, should it go to the Directed mode of just start normal fast advertising. And what the differences between them?

This will depend on your application and its intended operation. Directed advertisements is directed towards a single peer - such as to recover quickly from an accidental disconnect - while fast advertising provides lower latency for any peer to establish a connection to the device.

So, if you would like the device to primarily be connected to a single peer: Directed advertising.
If you would like it to be open for any device to connect, and to do so with low latency: fast advertising.
