Program Download failed on NRF5340 DK

HI 

I have got a new nrf5340 DK. I have tested four LEDs and HRM. It's working fine. But when I have tried to upload blinky or hello_world Sample from NCS v1.5.1, I can't able to flash the device. I have seen the Download failed error. I have attached the image of the error which I have got. 

I need help to resolve this.

Since it complains about the connection, what is the output of "nrfjprog -i"? And do you know what DK revision you are using?

Your nrfjprog version could've been out of date, but this should be fine. 

You can go ahead and run "nrfjprog --recover" now, and see if that helps.

Are you using either the RTT viewer or the Segger RTT Client while using nrfjprog? Is switch 9 set to VDD and switch 6 set to default?

No.

Btw, did "nrfjprog --recover" finish successfully? How does it look in the nrf programmer now?

And you mentioned that you managed to download the code using the nrf programmer? Did you manage to write it as well?

Yes, Its finish successfully.

NRF programmer shows the same "Device is Protected"

Yes, I mentioned, "I can download the hex file through Programmer, and also it is working". I can't able to upload the code from segger

My device is secured. I think thats why this problem continues, So, tell me How to do mass erase??

Try running:

nrfjprog --recover --coprocessor CP_NETWORK
nrfjprog --recover

It seems the nRF53 series (and soon the nRF52's) comes with APPROTECT being enabled as a default. It is basically read/writing protected until it is programmed not to be. However, recovering it should turn off the writing protection.

Try: nrfjprog -f NRF53 --recover --coprocessor CP_NETWORK --log, and give me the log.

And could you try downloading it using SES again, but with the output window set to Output instead of Tasks?
