I am looking into a project that uses a Bluetooth mic and Bluetooth speakers paired to the same computer at the same time. I'm familiar with Bluetooth and with Nordic's offerings in particular, but I've never tried two audio streams at once. It looks pretty straight-forward to stream audio in one direction, but I'm guessing I can't do two-way streaming. However, there are Bluetooth headsets that have mics and speakers, so I'm guessing they switch the stream from the audio to the speakers at some rate high enough that a human can't tell the difference. Either that, or they might have two Bluetooth transceivers in the headset, which doesn't seem to be the case.
Is it possible to stream audio over Bluetooth from a mic to a PC and from a PC to speakers at the same time using a single Bluetooth device to handle both streams?
