Illegal value 0x21009168 written to register 66 (MSP_NS) ignored thrown by SES when programming NRF5340_XXAA_NET sample

Why is SES throwing an "Illegal value 0x21009168 written to register 66 (MSP_NS) ignored" message after "Download successful" when programming nRF5340's network core with sample from NCS v1.5.1.

I am quite new in firmware programming.

I am using nRF 5340DK borad, trying to flash Direct test mode sample "nordic,nrf5340-dk-nrf5340-cpunet". Can you suggest alternative way to flash right firmware to test.

Can Nordic support team or someone please upload possibly the DTM firmware .elf or .hex or .bin file with your working setup.

Nice, the reason I asked you to create a new one is that I suspected that there were something else that made it not work. I have encountered "Illegal value xyz written to register 66 (MSP_NS) ignored" many times before, but it has never had any consequences beyond the message itself. The application still works despite this message.

I'm still waiting for feedback internally on what Illegal value xyz written to register 66 (MSP_NS) ignored" means.

Hi Simon,

fear that the direct test mode application is not working in my case after this error message.

Is it possible that you can try direct test mode application if it works at your end ?

Does DTM Reset command work, if yes then can you share me your compiled elf file i can try too.
