What does "cutting the short on SB3" means?

Hello, 
 
 I'm sorry for this question, it can be easy for most of you I guess. I would like to measure the current consumption of the Thingy91, I see in the documentation that it is possible: 
 It is possible to measure the current flowing to nRF9160 and nRF52840 by cutting the short circuit on SB3 (nRF9160) and/or SB4 (nRF52840) and placing an ammeter between the terminals of P1 (nRF9160) and the terminals of P2 (nRF52840). 
 But I don't understand what is cutting the short circuit on SB3 and what I have to do. 
 If someone can explain me, I would be grateful.

 which shows that they do, indeed, have a link to cut with a knife.

It would help if you gave a link so we can see exactly what you're talking about - in context. 
 Generally, "SB" refers to a S older B ridge:

 in the above, you can see that SB40, SB26, and SB34 all have a little link between the two halves - that'll be the "short circuit" they're talking about. 
 
 It's functionally identical to fitting/removing a jumper link: 
 
 but smaller, cheaper, more reliable, etc ...
