NRF52840 DK is not powering ON.

Hi,

My nRF52840 DK has suddenly stopped working. I have tried different USB cables but it's not turning ON when I connect the cable to the J2 USB connector.

Observation:

It is working only with USB mode (1.8V) and LED5 also turned ON and also able to program the board.

These are the steps I used to change the board power supply to 1.8V,

I have connected the first cable to the J2 USB connector and the second cable connected to the J3 USB connector,

Then I enabled the nRF only switch(SW6) and changed the power-source switch(SW9) to the USB option.

The board is not turning ON when I change the power-source switch (SW9) back to the VDD option.

Why is this only working with USB mode (1.8V)?

    Hi

    Please also make sure that SW6 is set back to default and that the USB cable from J3 is removed when you revert it to VDD mode. If that doesn't help, please try turning it on in USB mode and do an nrfjprog --recover or --eraseall as you might have flashed firmware onto the nRF52 SoC causing this for some reason.

    If that also fails, please go through the points listed in this case, with some common troubleshooting issues to make sure your DK is operational.
