iBeacon on nRF51422

Hi I am not sure on the nRF51422 chip the iBeacon function is fully supported, is it ? I can make the examples working on it but on the Nordic site only on the nRF51822 chip page it is stated you can do iBeacon. For example the Beacon Kit is based on the nRf51822 chip.

  • The nRF51822 and nRF51422 share the same HW architecture. The difference is that with nRF51422 you can run the ANT protocol stack, developed by Dynastream. This stack is included in SoftDevice S210 and S310. The nRF51422 is a bit more expensive, and that is because the extra cost of using the ANT protocol stack.

Everything you can run on a nRF51822 you can run on a nRF51422, but not the other way around.
