How to change Address used by nrf Connect Desktop

Hello,

I want to test a peripheral that uses private address resolution. I would like to set nrf52 eval board used by the nrf Connect Desktop to use a fixed, private random resolvable address. Looks like there is no way to do, using the GUI. Is there some way, using config files or even by patching the UICR of the eval board?

Hi Torsten,

That is unfortunately not supported by the nRF Connect for desktop BLE app, and I cannot see any way of doing it. Specifically the address is read from FICR, and while you can set it via the pc-ble-driver directly that will not help as nRF Connect for desktop resets the device in the beginning, so any configuration you might have done before is lost.
