eDRX on nrf9160 max. 1min

I tried to set the eDRX mode to more then 1 min. in many different project and samples, but after 1 minute it always turns on the modem. Does anyone have a clue what the issue could be?

I already checked if the mode is accepted by the network and with the AT commands it seems it is.
