Hi Dev team,
I was looking through the documentation of PMIC from the Thingy91 User Guide and I saw that the PMIC in Thingy91 can be used for battery charging ("The PMIC includes a battery charger").
I wanted to know this could be implemented and what source really charges the battery?
Also, is this function : ( int adp536x_charging_enable(bool enable) ); use to enable it ?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The Thingy:91 documentation, under chapter Power Supply, states:
"The main power source is a rechargeable lithium polymer (Li-Po) battery. The battery has a nominal capacity of 1400 mAh and can be recharged through Universal Serial Bus (USB).
Nordic Thingy:91
has a power switch that physically disconnects the battery and the USB power from the rest of the circuits. This switch must be on for Nordic Thingy:91 to work and charge the battery. When the power switch is in the OFF position, it activates a circuit that drains the 1.8 V power domain."
This means that when you connect the USB cable and power on the board, it will charge the battery while connected. If you disconnect the USB, then the PMIC will supply power from the battery.
