Certificates issue running azure_iot_hub

Good afternoon,

I've created public and private certificates for connecting with an azure hub using a nrf9160dk. I succeeded but, later, i was investigating a bit deeper on the certificates using the at_client.
I've seen that on the board, there were stored more certs that the ones I had added. I deleted them all, I added the ones that I had created for connecting with the Azure host, and from that point I couldn't stablish the connection anymore.

Is there any way of restoring the board, certificates included, to factory values?

PS. I tried to reflash the modem but I couldn't recover the original certs doing that neither.

Hello Angel,

you can use the Credential storage management %CMNG command to delete all the certificates stored in the modem.

Afterwards, you can create a new nRF Connect for Cloud certificate. This should restore your modem certificate settings.

I’m not quite sure if deleting other certificates is related to your connection problem with the Azure Hub, though. Each modem socket uses his own security tag that is allocated by the application.

Thanks for the fast answer.
For creating the certs I've been using the next guideline:

Then, with the Certificate Manager of the LTE Link Monitor, I've added the client certificate and the private key to the nrf9160dk.
Doing this, I could connect to the hub but since I've deleted all the certificates I cannot reconnect again.

Could I be missing something?

Problem solved.
If anyone finds same issue, I had erased the "Baltimore CyberTrust Root certificate".
This certificate can be easily downloaded from the web and must be updated to the CA certificate field.
