Disable RTT logs and Enable Logs over UART

Hi,

I want to disable RTT logs which appear on RTT viewer and want to redirect them over UART to Teraterm or some other Serial Logger.
The reason is that apparently I cant use a python script to display the data traffic sent to RTT viewer as mentioned here.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

We're using SDK 17 with nrf52 DK.

Tried the steps mentioned here , but no success.

You should also be able to access the RTT stuff via Python - I think it's basically just a Telnet session? Segger have some stuff on it...

The settings are in the sdk_config.h

NRF_LOG_BACKEND_RTT_ENABLED or NRF_LOG_BACKEND_RTT_ENABLED

to use the UART, you may also need NRFX_UARTE_ENABLED and/or NRFX_UART_ENABLED and/or UART_ENABLED

It may be a little off topic, but can you guide, if possible, on how to access RTT via Python. Because my requirement at this point is to get the script run with the data.

Any references you can share would be much appreciated.

As to your suggestion, I have all those flags enabled, but no success. I still get data on RTT.

You'd have to go to Segger  for details & support - it's nothing to do with Nordic.

and the code has loaded onto the target?
