Could not Erase All after updating Programmer of nrfConnect to v1.4.9.

Hi.

After updating Programmer of nrfConnect to v1.4.9, I have not be able to "execute Erase All" command.

Error message is "Error: Error occured when program. Errorcode: CouldNotCallFunction (0x9) Lowlevel error: INVALID_PARAMETER (fffffffd)".

Could you let me know how to fix this issue?

My conditions are bellow.

* PC : macOS Big Sur

* device : nrf52832 (+ J-Link lite)

* Software Version :

  * nrfConnect : v3.6.1

  * J-Link : 7.22

  * Programmer : v1.4.9

Hi,

There seems to be an issue with the latest version of the Programmer application, which causes this error when using standalone J-link debuggers, but not on-board debuggers. We have had other reports of this issue as well, and the team responsible for this release is looking into it. I will update you when this is fixed.

I just want to give you an update on this. The issue has been assigned to the team, and they are looking into it, but I do not have a timeline for a fix yet. In the meantime you may downgrade to v1.4.8 or use nrfjprog from the command line.

To downgrade, you have to install the old release as a local app. The old version is available here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/.pc-tools/nrfconnect-apps/pc-nrfconnect-programmer-1.4.8.tgz. The instructions for installing local apps can be found here.
