Bluetooth mesh channel

I see that I can USE BT MESH  in an application  .  Can I  encrease the number  of advertisingh channel  adding  some  secondary advertising channel?

May I do that  in this way ?

With Zephyr May I do that?

May I define the number of the number of the  sencondary channel? May  I define che channel that I can use in the secondary channe subset ?

Hi,

It's not clear what you are trying to do here. Do you want to run mesh and normal BLE concurrently? Why do you want to increase the secondary channels? Can you elaborate on that you are trying to achieve?

I would like to use more then 3 channel, To reduce the effect of the noise. So my question was may I increase the number of channel used  on BT mesh ?I can reduce the bitrate but in that case wich is the band occupation  is still less the 1% ?The other point is if I have more channel available available I can increase the security?

Hi,

BT mesh uses primary advertising channels, the three defined in the specification. So no you can't increase the number of channels/secondary channels use in BT mesh. You can enable extended advertising to get significantly better performance for mesh advertising.
