VCC pin output from nrf6700

Hi there,

I am  trying to use the ISP from the 6700. I need to power my development board. I was wondering if there is a pin output on the nRF6700 motherboard? There is one that is hard to access which is in the connector the the radion module here:

Can I use the Vext pin out on the other ports? Will it give the same power as VCC?

This is from the product spec about the power supplies. I am just unsure of how reliable/usable the power is from Vext:

..

Thank you!

  • Hi,

In most cases, Vext is equal to VTG, which is the voltage set in nRFgo Studio

Vext is not the same as VCC (which is 3.8V), but it is normally equal to VTG, which is board configurable in nrfgo studio (3.6 - 1.8V).

You can freely power your external board from the motherboard via. the 10 pin headers.

    Kind regards,

    Håkon
