weird question I need to sniff some other ble devices same as nrf52840(some other custom product)but the packet is coded

due to this problem recently I have problem on some custom product which is base on nrf52840(seems like it is a car temperature device)

but the packet of the BLE device which it need to be advertising is coded 

according to the site above

so is there a way to sniff the device which the packet is coded?

Presumably, because they don't want people ripping-off their product?

But do you really need to sniff the protocol - can't you just replicate the BLE Services & Characteristics ... ?

but i do ask them that their product is base on nrf52840 so IDK why i can't even scan it with the other 52840dk

BLE is a standard protocol - so, If it's BLE, you should be able to scan it.

Have you tried using the nRF Connect app? or any other BLE scanner?

Does your nRF52840-DK scanner find any other devices?

Hi,

It is not easy to understand from the question what you mean. Are you trying to sniff using coded PHY (long range)? Or do you mean that the link is encrypted (after pairing)? Please elaborate. Once we understand what you want we will be able to answer better.
