configure the second UART port in dev kit.

Hello Team,

We are using BL653 Laird module which has Nordic nrf52833 module.

We wanted to use 2 UART ports for our application using Laird BL653 development board.

We can only see provision of 1 UART port. How can we configure the second UART port in that dev kit ?

Hi Vithika,

From a firmware perspective you can use the second UARTE peripheral (UARTE1) in exactly the same way as UARTE0. However, the onboard debugger only have a single UART interface with the nRF, so if you want to access the second UART from your computer as well you need to use a external USB-UART bridge.
