Using Bluetooth to get device last known location

Hello,

I've been studying Bluetooth technology for a few weeks. I wanted my first to implement a simple key finder device, as my first project. I was doing some research into what other devices implemented and I saw on a Tile product and other devices is that you can find your phone with the device (by pressing a button).

I found an article from Nordic about Tile using the nRF52810, and it mentions how this is possible:

"The device then uses the smartphone or tablet’s location services to communicate its location information anonymously to the app".

https://www.nordicsemi.com/News/2019/10/Tile-employs-nRF52810-to-provide-ultra-low-power-connectivity

So my question(s) is how can I implement a feature like this, as well as are there any resources from Nordic about this?

Kind regards,

JSC
