Question about new product nRF52

I am ask about the time for nRF52 to be available in markets, is it programmed with same nRF51 compiler and same technique ?

I just ordered my dev kit 2 minutes ago so it looks like it's available now.

All I know is what I learned from the video presentation I just watched but it seems to me that it's upwards compatible, it's a faster processor, more peripherals, more memory etc etc but the architecture is basically the same.

So as far as I can tell, moving up to the new chip is going to be a breeze and I can't wait.

Hopefully the docs will be up soon, I want to read more about the details, especially the EasyDMA and what that covers.

The mouser part number is "949-NRF52-PREVIEW-DK" and I found it (this is the singapore mouser site but I'm sure you can find similar) at

www.mouser.sg/.../

There were 120 available when I logged in - now there's 105 - I guess there's quite a few of us wanting them.

You should check out the new infocenter here. They have guides for getting started with the nRF52. You can use the same familiar environments as with nRF51. I can't actually see any difference developing for this chip than with the 51.
