Hi,

  i am working on dfu with NRF52DK. I am facing a problem with compiling a example dfu code "pca10040_s132_ble_debug" .

error  message is "cannot find ../../../../../external/micro-ecc/nrf52hf_armgcc/armgcc/micro_ecc_lib_nrf52.a: No such file or directory"

Hi,

Please Install micro-ecc. This library is required for the Cryptography library - nrf_crypto, which is used in the BLE Secure DFU Bootloader example.

yes already installed micro-ecc "D:\DFU\nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde\nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde\external\micro-ecc\micro-ecc"

Can you check the gcc is located as the path? Or you could try to Install version 4.9-2015-q3-update of the GCC compiler toolchain for ARM as the doc stated. Make sure that make is installed (see, for example, MinGW, GNU Make, or Xcode).

when i write "gcc --version" in cmd then gcc got detected

  path for arm-none-eabi-gcc' in my pc is  C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain\10 2020-q4-major\bin\arm-none-eabi-gcc

gnu toolchain folder name is different as "GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain".

Can you install ARM GCC 9.2019-q4-major? To make it can fine 'C:/Program Files (x86)/GNU Tools ARM Embedded/9 2019-q4-major/bin/arm-none-eabi-gcc'

yes problem solved by installing "ARM GCC 9.2019-q4-major"
