Thread support on the nRF82520?

I'm trying to get Thread working on the nRF52820. It seems that neither the "nRF5 SDK for Thread and Zigbee" nor the "nRF Connect SDK" support it (yet?), but instead require at least the nRF82533.

Given that the nRF52820 is advertised with Thread support I'm curious what I'm missing on how to get a Thread-based application working?

Hello, 

Have you tried to build the Thread samples for the nRF52820? There is no separate development kit for the nRF52820 chip. Projects for nRF52820 can be developed on the nRF52833 DK. This means that you need to build for nRF52833DK_nrf52820 (zephyr\boards\arm\nrf52833dk_nrf52820)
