Cant send or receive on UART 1 NRF9160

I have enabled UART_1 but cant seem to send any data or receive any, I have hooked it up to logic analyser and cant see any trx data coming from the board.

If i set my config to output debug over uart1 instead of default uart0 It works, so my pin setup must be correct.

 here is my prj.conf

CONFIG_SERIAL=y
CONFIG_UART_NRFX=y
CONFIG_TRUSTED_EXECUTION_NONSECURE=y
CONFIG_UART_INTERRUPT_DRIVEN=y

and my pin setup

I am trying to send data using this command

Hi, yes my callback currently is set up exactly like that, I havent tried using printK to send data as I read that it only worked on UART0 for debugging purposes, I cant see anywhere where i can set which UART channel for it to use.

I have sent data to the board and that isn't triggering the callback either.

Are you using a DK? Pin 5 and 6 are already being used by the DK buttons, so that wouldn't work in case you are using DK.

No, its a custom board, nothing else is hooked up to 5 and 6.

I was informed by RSM that a DK was sent to you, so you should expect to receive it in the near future. Then you can try to reproduce the issue on the DK. As already mentioned, you will need to change the RX and TX pin if using the DK.
