Error with mqtt_sample nrf9160

Hello, I'm very new at nrf connect sdk. I tried to rebuild mqtt_sample and I got this error: opening dependency file modules\nrfxlib\nrfxlib\nrf_security\src\mbedtls\CMakeFiles\mbedcrypto_base_vanilla.dir\C_\Users\...\ncs\v1.6.0\mbedtls\library\psa_crypto_slot_management.c.obj.d: No such file or directory

using nrf9160 with the sdk 1.6.0

Can someone help me with that ?

Hello, 

Can you please provide the full path length? We are aware of issues with the path length being too long, or having a space in the user name. Can you please try to move the NCS folder to e.g. C:\Nordic\v1.6.0 ?

It has 170 lenght total. My user is jonathankongolo  so the full path will be modules\nrfxlib\nrfxlib\nrf_security\src\mbedtls\CMakeFiles\mbedcrypto_base_vanilla.dir\C_\Users\jonathankongolo\ncs\v1.6.0\mbedtls\library\psa_crypto_slot_management.c.obj.d

Aboir moving, I read that we have to move using toolchain ? Do you have a place I can read about how to use it to move the ncs folder ?

Hello,

Currently, there are no other methods than deleting and reinstalling NCS v1.6.0. If you have edited code, please make sure to copy this and add to new path.

I get the same error when building the "central_uart" application using SDK 1.6.0 for nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuappns.

I do not get the error when I build for nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp.

Any additional information on this error is much appreciated!
