Segger Studio Installation

I am following https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.6.0/nrf/gs_installing.html for installing on Linux.

I have installed SES from 1.6.99 documentation (v550C) as the link in 1.6.0 is broken (v550A) and resolves to standard SES download (no nordic).

Once I launch SES I get the following error about json parsing.

Is there any suggestion?

Hi, 

Our team has tested Segger Embedded Studio v5.50c on Linux with no issues. Have you verified that all packages are installed correctly according to the Required Tools chapter? Also, please make sure that the path is configured correctly.

The documentation will be updated regarding the download links will be updated.

Hello,

I have followed the instructions as shown in the link I posted in the first message. I think everything is OK. Anyway I will check the packages separately. What makes me concern is that SES is only extracted and the paths to the tools is fixed later.

I will follow up probably today.
