Hi:

    I  test this hids project, if remove the function bt_conn_auth_cb_register(&auth_cb_display). The iphone will require paired while reconnecting after disconnected. Can you resolve this problem? I don't need the passkey and iphone can reconnected auto after disconnected.

Hi Sam, 

The reason you aren't reconnecting is simply that the app doesn't attempt to reconnect to a disconnected peer. The Central (ie, your app) initiates connections - so it's the app that would have to manage any auto-connect.

   In fact, the hid device is work without app, it can be connect auto by ios or android .Can you offter more help.

Hi Sam, 

Sorry for the mistake. I have similar cases at the same time. 

I test your method with the iPhone, Mac, Windows, and Android phone, and they can auto-connect if the device is turned off and on. If you use the Peripheral HIDS mouse and set CONFIG_BT_HIDS_SECURITY_ENABLED=n in the prj.conf, it also can auto-connect without the passkey.
