Online Power Profiler showing 2.7uA sleep

When using the nordic power profiler for the nrf52840, it gives the "idle" current as 2.7uA. Presumably this is the deep sleep current, but it seems like this number doesnt change when the voltage is changed, when DCDC mode is selected. It also doesnt show up in the datasheet, but I assume the I_ON_RAMON_RTC number but using the external crystal rather than the LFRC.

We would also like to figure out what the equivalent current would be for the nrf5340.

If you change LF clock source to LFRC in the online power profiler you should get this number:

LFXO uses a bit less current, 0.2 uA vs 0.6 uA for the LFRC, which leaves you at 2.7uA.

The sleep currents are independent of the DCDC regulator, as the DCDC regulator only kicks in when the current is above a certain threshold. In idle mode the regulator used is an LDO regulator operating in burst mode (both when DCDC is enabled and disabled). And the LDO is not dependent on voltage.
