nrf24 and bootloaders

Hi there,

I have used the nrf2724 (radio module) as a prototyping platform. I am able to flash my personal program to the nrf24le1 on the nrf2724 and it functions properly. Now, I am getting my own boards made with an nrf24le1. I was wondering if I will need to program a bootloader to the nrf24le1 on my new development boards? Since I did not have to with the chip on the nrf2724, I would assume that I don't have to program a bootloader. Is this correct? Will I be able to just flash my personal program to these boards in the same way (via ISP)? Should I expect to be able to program the boards without a bootloader? The nrf24le1 only has one memory space so I am not sure how I would program a bootloader to it if it needs one.

Thanks!

Emma

Which bootloader are you referring to?

You can choose to program the devices directly over ISP, with or without a bootloader. This is up to you and how your application should work.
