nRF Connect for Android script - get user input

I am using nRF Connect for Android and had a question about a script I would like to develop: for this script, I would like user input to specify part of the value I write to a characteristic.  Is there any way I can get user input?

Hi 

I will ask the Android developers if this is supported, but unfortunately both of them are on holiday at the moment so it might take some time to get a response. 

I don't think this is supported, but I will have to get their feedback to know for sure. 

Do you have a lot of different values you need to support?

Otherwise you might be able to get away with a couple of different scripts with different values. 

We also provide various Android examples with source code to allow you more easily to develop your own applications, but this is obviously more work than just setting up a script.

One of the developers responded to me and confirmed that this is not possible. 

When they are back from holiday I can ask if it's possible to add something like this, but I can obviously not make any promises.
