Problem connecting Thingy:91 to cloud

I'm having trouble connecting Thingy:91 to cloud.

I've installed both the modem and HEX image in the board successfully.

I've added the SIM card successfully to the cloud account.

The problem is that when I turn on the device for it to connect to the cloud and wait for user association, it never does so, the LED is blue and continuously blinking, never changes to yellow.

    to start with, you should check the following things:

    1. Has your device successfully connected to the network?
    2. Have you updated the device with the nRF Connect for Cloud certificate?
    3. Have you been following the steps described in the Testing chapter of the nRF9160: Asset Tracker application guide? And here, especially point 7, where you manually have to add your Thingy:91 as a LTE device to the nRF Cloud.

    Yes, I have been following the steps, I forgot to say that I have an Asset Tracker LTE-M configuration in the Thingy91 at the moment.

    I have updated the certificate as said.

    I can't get to step 7 since the device never connects to cloud, therefore I can't add the LTE device.

    The last part of the log only appeared now. Before, it kept spamming the terminal with the SPM.

    I'm also noticing now that it seems to be stuck on trying to connect to LTE-M, as it is trying to connect every 480 seconds.

    Either the card is invalid or I do not have LTE-M coverage here.

    I could try with a NB-IoT config aswell but iBasis SIM Card doesn't seem to have NB-IoT support in my country (Portugal).
