Mesh on nrf

Hello, I wish to create a mesh for my product and I have two options Zigbee and nordic SoC. My application involves very little data transfer and that too at very low rate ( once every 5 minutes), its a sensor network. Also I have no power constrains (connected to AC always). I was thinking of running my code on Arm M0 built in nrf51422, using ANT for mesh and using BLE for communication with phone and beacon. Please help me as where to start with and is this possible. I aim to connect atleat 5000 nodes in long run.

For BLE we have a rebroadcasting mesh implementation available here. There are some questions with some more information on this forum.

Wirepas Pino may also be something to look into. They have made a mesh protocol for the nRF51 Series, see this.
