nrf52840 dk board is unable to control the light node

hiii,

I'm using the light switch example from the mesh SDK, version 5.0. I've successfully configured the client and the server using the nrf mesh app. however, my client is unable to control the server. for example, when I programmed button 1 to turn on the server, nothing will happen. any insight will be greatly appreciated.

What devices are you using, with what exact applications on them, and what is the full configuration that you have given to each of those devices using the nRF Mesh app?

Did you encounter any error messages during the provisioning and/or configuration?

Do you have any logs indicating something might be not right?

hello,

I'm currently using the nrf52840 dk and a  Sylvania smart+ A19 filament light bulb which has Bluetooth. I configured the generic onoff client for he nrf52840 and configured the generic onoff server for the lightbulb. 

i did not encounter any error messages and I have not seen any logs that could cause the issue

What settings did you use for both of the devices? Publish address, subscription, app key? Did you follow a guide (if so which one?) Can you control the light from the provisioner?

hello,

I have disable gatt proxy and friend feature. My publish address and subscription address goes to a group that I created. the address is 0xCEE0. I published using the the generic onoff client and subscribed the generic onoff server to the group. I bind app key 1 for all elements.

Everything looks correct then, so this is a bit strange.

What does the RTT logs from the DK say, both during provisioning, configuration, and when pressing the button?

Also, might there be interference from other 2.4 GHz devices? Does it not work despite repeatedly trying to press the button? What is the publish configurations, i.e. number of message repeats, interval, etc.?

Have you tried the other buttons as well, in case it is the wrong client model being configured?

the board is now able to talk to the light node, I think it started working because i set a transmission time for the messages
