Can't find NRF device on wireshark

Hi,

I'm trying to catch my NRF packets with nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth and I can't find them (after starting advertising).

On the other hand - I'm able to connect to the device via nRF connect on my mobile.

Can you please help me?

Hi, 

What is the nRF Sniffer you use? Is it v3.1.0? Are you using DK or a custom board? Are you able to see the device before connecting to mobile?

What is the application? Are you able to try other application examples for SDK /NCS? Can the nRF Sniffer see the device running the example?

Yes, it's 3.1.0, I'm using PCA10040 board, after programming it with compatible hex file and installation of Wireshark following the instructions.

Is that possible that I can't find my packets and only other packets, because I did something wrong during configuration/installation?

 No, if you install correctly, it's supposed to see all the devices. 

What is the board your application runs on? 

Do you use two DKs, one run nRF Sniffer and another run your application?

I think I understand what the problem is.

It works very slow, so there is a big delay until I can see BLE packets. Do I have a way to fix that with configuration?

Could you provide the sniffer log and elaborate more about that it works slow and has a big delay? Thanks.
