ESB multidevice application

Hi Nordic

    One of my customer develop a system with ESB(Enhanced ShockBurst). They employs nRF51802 in their project.

    In their system, above 40-50 Tx devices transmit message to a Rx device.

    As far as I know, ESB has 8 pipes.

    One of my colleague suggested all the Tx devices use one pipe, and use upper application ID to distinguish the message source.

    Will this cause any problem such as clash?

That seems like a good idea, I am not aware of any specific problems here no.

I found that if  all  ptx device using the same pipe would cause data lost, is there any methond to solve it ?

I suggest to use noack when sending packets from the PTX, and then send the same packet using noack for instance 5 times to ensure everyone have received the packet.
