usb dfu class

hi support team,

i was testing usb dfu(NCS1.6.0) function with window10, after i download the code, the windows seems not able to install the driver as below, and i couldn't update the driver.

for usb cdc or usb msc, there is no need for driver.

does it mean that this USB class is only supported by LINUX? and not for windows?

and in the readme.txt, testing requirements also needs LINUX machine.

on the other hand, the link tell me that we need usb driver                                            "http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.6.0/zephyr/samples/subsys/usb/dfu/README.html?highlight=usb%20dfu",

if we have this driver to support the usb dfu class?

Customer want to have BLE and USB OTA from windows10 or window11 system, not by mobile device.

i have solved this problem. and USB DFU is verified. and let me share some info here, and maybe some need this.

i have saw some ticket in the zephyr github ticket, i have gone exactly the same problem as them.

like this one"https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/issues/23337".

solutions:

use zadig.exe to install the driver, i tried libusbk and winusb, i am not sure which driver is correct, we'd better try both as below:

and this usb device should be listed as libusbk usb device, as below. 

and terminal would be like this, and uart will show the log as our developer described.
