Using nRF Cloud A-GPS with Another Cloud Service

Hello,

I am looking at the Asset Tracker v2 example and was wondering if it is possible to use the A-GPS or P-GPS services offered through nRF Cloud if I am using AWS or Azure as my cloud service provider? If so, how can that be accomplished?

  • Hello Akash,

Yes, it is possible to use nRF Cloud Location Services in combination with other clouds. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a device that is accessing/fetching location data from nRF Cloud. It can also be any other cloud instance. This is basically just an API call from the other cloud to the nRF Cloud.

If so, how can that be accomplished?

You can read more about this here. We are working on an improved documentation as we speak.
