[NRF5 SDK] Reboot board if assert

Hi,

I want to know if its possible to implement a mechanism that reboot a device when an assertion occurred.

I have try to add a WatchDog but its only reboot the board if a process take a to long time and not work if the device crashed. Or an assertion cause a crash.

Hi,

The default behavior when an assert happens is to reset the device. In nrf_assert.c, you can see that app_error_fault_handler() is called. If DEBUG symbol is not defined, this function will call NVIC_SystemReset().

Note that DEBUG_NRF symbol myst be defined for asserts to be enabled in the application.
