how to port a code written for nRF51 to nRF52

Hello,

How can I port the code written for nRF51 to nRF52 in Keil IDE. Also, I see that Keil supports nrf52 but does not provide device specific software packs.

Is there any idea when Keil would release the device specific software packs. If they are already available, any link/documentation that would help is appreciated.

If the packs are not available yet, what is a best alternative compiler/IDE to use for nRF52.

There is a nRF51 to nRF52 migration document in the making. I can not exactly say when it will be released, but hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Are there already products/prototypes out there that actually use a nRF52 or is it only a dev kit?

@CR nRF52 is relatively new product. A nRF52832 preview chip with a preview development kit (preveiw nRF52-DK) was released last summer. It did not have full feature set. Now is available fully featured Engineering version with a develoment kit nRF52-DK. The nRF52-DK kit has still engineering version of the chip. nRF52 prodution version will be available soon. To know more about the timeline and scheduled release dates, please contact your Nordic Semiconductor sales representative. I am not aware of any released products yet with the nRF52, it is still just engineering samples out there.
