I don't have the Open SDK button when installing the Nordic Connect SDK

I don't understand how the guide gets to the Open IDE button. I used the automated installer and it did not appear for me. The guide did not provide any instructions on how this can be remedied.

My installation on Mac does not have the blue Open IDE button but the same steps I did on Windows had the blue open IDE button

Please advise.

Hi,

This is usually caused by the SDK not actually being downloaded.

The first suggestion is to simply try again, by first removing what was downloaded (press the arrow, and select "remove"), then try to download it again.

If you are using VPN, I recommend you disable it, as we have seen that cause problems before.
