Are nrf5340 chips EAL 6+ Certified?

Hello,

I am working on developing a payment device that needs high security.

I was reading that new M33 ARM cores are EAL6+ certified. Does that mean that nordic nrf5340 microcontrollers which utilize M33 architecture are also ELA 6+ certified?

Hi Andy,

The nRF5340 is not EAL certified to any level and will not be either. This certificate requires tamper proofing, side channel attack protection etc that the nRF5340 doesn't have. 

The nRF5340 is PSA level 1 certified though: https://www.psacertified.org/products/nrf5340/
