Cloud Driver

I am interested in developing a Cloud Driver that communicates to my own servers over HTTPS.

Cloud API documentations state that a driver needs to implement a set number of functions, but does not go into more details. Is there an article detailing the structure of Cloud API?

There are not any guides/articles other than the Cloud API documentation describing how to use the API. If you want more details on how it's used I suggest looking into how it's done for other backends. You can check out the guide for using the Cloud API with nRF Cloud for example. I also suggest looking at the Azure IoT Hub and AWS IoT cloud backends code for reference.
