nRF5340 - RESETREAS

Hi,

I wanted nRF5340 capable of reporting the VDD under-voltage event causing a pin reset through a dedicated voltage monitoring IC.
For this reason I put a Flip-Flop for storing and making this information available via GPIO on subsequent reboot.
I felt satisfied.
Afterward I read about a register of nRF5340's, called RESETREAS, which can be read to determine which source generated the reset.
Does this means I can get rid of the Flip-Flop ?

Hi, the nRF5340 has a RESETREAS register as you say. This will contain information if the reset is due to a pin reset, or a BOR (brown out reset) if the voltage was too low, or other things.
