How to get the id of the external flash using the qspi example or the spi example?

I have no idea about how to read the device id of the external flash in the nrf52840dk? Please guide me to do so.

I also referred the MX25R6435F datasheet, to see the method to read the device id, but in the example there is no demonstration about how to implement any SPI method of such nature.

You should indeed be able to get the device ID using the nrf_drv_qspi_cinstr_xfer() and cinstr_cfg calls. What exactly are you struggling with here. Can you show me a snippet of how you're reading the device ID with this function? What does the function return when trying to read?
