Get current time value from nRF Mesh App and send it to a mesh network

Hello,

I would like to synchronize my mesh server's current time with my smartphone. It is possible using nRF Mesh Mobile Application ?

I saw on the mesh models list that it exists a Time and Scene models that have a TAI64 variable. I saw that is is quite easy in BLE but i can't find any documentation for Mesh.

I am using nRF MESH SDK 5.0 and SDK 17.0.2

Hi,

Yes, there is support for time and scene models but we don't have UI for it. If you want the feature you are describing, you need to implement this yourself. You can use the available code for the nRF Mesh app(iOS/Android).

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answer. I will use the simple_on_off model and change the size of the message to uint64_t in order to send TAI64 and i will adapt my mobile application to send current time value.
