"No emulators connected via USB" on nRF52840 Dongle

Hello there!

I'm quite new to the topic and just tried to dig into it a bit, so I'm sorry if I didn't get all things yet about the nRF5280 Dongle :) . 

Right now, I'm following this tutorial as I suppose it's the basic starter tutorial for programming the dongle. I'm stuck on this part:

• To build and flash the application, choose Build → Build and Run.

When I press the "Build and Run" button it builds all the files and fails after it. A J-Link window pops up telling me "no emulators connected via USB".

I'm using the SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM V5.50c installed via the ToolChain Manager v 0.9.3. The Dongle LED is pulsing after I pressed the reset button and it is shown as nRF52 SDFU USB on COM3 in the device manager. The nRF Connect Programmer can access the Dongle without any problem and shows RAM etc as it should.

Could you guys maybe help me on this one? :)

That is correct: The dongle does not contain a j-link adapter chip, only the DKs do.

"Build and Run" requires a J-Link debugger.

Oh, thanks for the clarification! How do I then upload my code? Is there somewhere a beginner-friendly guide for this particular dongle? =)
