Non-Proxy Node not receiving get messages - Android

Nrf Mesh App Version 3.1.6

After provisioning 2 nodes, I connect to one as a proxy, whenever I try to "get TTL", "Read State", or refresh the configuration server after a couple times, it will time out.

I am unsure of the issue at hand, I have tried to use breakpoints to debug the issue, however, whenever I use breakpoints, it works.

The firmware is a custom FW

This seems really strange. Have you tried debugging the code without setting breakpoints? Does it work then?
